We are always looking for new people to help at events. Much of the work at The Assembly Rooms is done by volunteers. If you would like to get involved we would be delighted to hear from you.  

We always need people to help with setting up the Hall for events, putting out tables & chairs etc.. moving P.A. gear, helping tidy at the end of the night. Fire stewards.. keeping our door areas clear, and doors closed etc during performances. Decorating the hall, especially for our seasonal community nights.  Do you have an interest in sound and lighting? I.T.? Publicity and P.R.? Funding? .. 

We are seeking funding to undertake essential repairs and to make the great hall accessible to all. To help fulfil the building’s potential we need craftspeople, artists, carpenters, builders and plumbers to get involved.

Ceremonialists, singers and musicians to support our gatherings and celebrations are also appreciated. If you wish to offer your time, skills or resources, we invite you to contact us and get involved.
